This Paleo & Whole30 Blackberry Lime Marinade is so easy to make and requires only 5 ingredients. It's such a sweet, flavorful surprise on chicken!

Paleo & Whole30 Blackberry Lime Marinade


  • 2 limes, zested and juiced
  • 6 oz. blackberries
  • 4 tbsp light olive oil (It’s better than EVOO for cooking at higher temperatures.)
  • 1/4 c. 100% apple juice
  • 2 tbsp. coconut aminos
  • salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Zest and juice your limes. If you don’t have a citrus zester, that’s okay! Just use a fine cheese grater. It works well, too, in a pinch. I use this lime juicer when I have just a couple to juice and don’t want to make a mess.
  2. Add everything to a high-powered blender such as a NutriBullet. I love this thing. It can pulverize anything I throw at it in ten seconds flat.
  3. Blend until smooth.
